It would be cool to play against AI heavies that have the same amount of health as assaults.

There should be a slider for AI and player health instead of set values.

They say that Arcade is supposed to prepare players for online multiplayer? How can that be if we don't get to experience all the features? I believe that if they add the galactic assault sized maps, when you play on them, you will enable the ability to play with vehicles (fighters, interceptors, bombers, speeders, armor, and artillery). And they wouldn't do some BS jump thing like they have now (you know, 0, 2, 4, 8, 10?), but instead they would go counting up by one from zero to twenty. They would also need to make it so the maximum amount of players per team they could be would be twenty. If you want to act out a battle where there's an elite group of clone troops facing off against hordes of droids, sure, why not? Also, they need to have the option to choose galactic assault size maps so that the maps don't get too boring after a while. For example, you should be able to set how many troops each side gets independently.

They should add separate team options.

This would not be too hard to code for, since they already have the code for it in the CS gamemode.

I think we'd all be fine if they added a certain gamemode where you capture command posts, like in Capital Supremacy. Those last two might be a little bit of a stretch though. Additionally, they should add the functionality of AI using reinforcements and heroes. The hardest difficultly with AI health set to tough and player health set to half is still pretty easy. It gets a little dull after like one game. At the very least, the dev team should add sprinting to the AI.

Wouldn't you just love it if you could pit stormtroopers against clones on Mos Eisley? I know there are already several mods for this, but those are only for PC. I feel that it would be cool to have custom battles across the galaxy across any era.

You should be able to choose what eras you play in on each map.

I know some of these might not be possible or too difficult to code or whatnot, but I'm just spewing. This is a list of some of my suggestions because it is need of some serious refinement.
